From Sunday, Cappuccino - the 24-hour coffee shop at Sheraton Park Hotel and Towers - will dish out to its guests ‘The Super King’s World Menu’. They are the official hoteliers for the Indian Premier League (IPL) here, after all.

“The menu is made with the consent of the players,” executive chef Parveen Anand told IANS. It will contain gastronomic delights that the CSK cricketers have confessed their weakness for.

A look at the menu reveals that the CSK players like to quench their thirst with rose milk or a mango smoothie - when they are not busy devouring rivals on the field. While it takes butter chicken with extra butter to stump team captain and wicketkeeper MS Dhoni, foodie Mathew Hayden loves to have several helpings of prawn curry with kal dosa.

Muthiah Muralitharan gets bowled over by steamed idiappam with chapa pulusu while Suresh Raina satiates his hunger off the field with grilled chicken sandwich.
Club sandwich and banana milkshake form all-rounder Albie Morkel’s power play combo. Parthiv Patel is content with home-style dal tadka, steamed rice and jeera aloo while fast bowler Lakshmipathy Balaji is happy to be served pepper chicken gravy with veechu paratha.

Medium pacer Joginder Sharma gives the thumbs up to pindi channa with bhatura and right hander Subramanian Badrinath loves mutton biryani with baingan ka salan and raita.
And you can have all this on a platter, feeling right royal like a ‘super king’.
