A four-member team of the Internatioal Cricket Council and and the Board of Control for Cricket in India that visited Odisha on Tuesday expressed their satisfaction over the arrangements made by the State cricket association for the matches of the forthcoming women’s cricket World Cup to be played here in two venues.

The visit was significant in view of the ongoing protest in the state capital -- Bhubaneswar -- and Cuttack against the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA)’s decision to host matches involving Pakistan, along with other matches in Group ‘B’.

“The ICC and BCCI team members have expressed their satisfaction on the arrangements here after their discussions with the State government representatives,” said Ashirbad Behera, the OCA secretary.
