Karnataka emerged champions in the inter-zonal (south zone) under-19 one-day limited-overs tournament for the Vinoo Mankad Trophy after all the three final-round matches were abandoned due to heavy rain on Saturday.
Karnataka, Hyderabad and Andhra all finished on 14 points at conclusion the six-team league but the hosts bagged the top honours by virtue of their superior net run-rate (1.16).
Andhra, who had a net run rate of 0.53, finished runners-up ahead of Hyderabad (-0.83).
Karnataka registered three wins, lost one and there was no result in the last match against Kerala.
