KSCA XI produced a brilliant bowling performance to trounce Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association by an innings and 152 runs in the K Dr (Capt) K Thimmappiah Memorial tournament at the Just Cricket ground here on Sunday.
Resuming from 66/5, trailing KSCA XI by 488 runs, Himachal were skittled out for 166 in 46.4 overs. Shreyas Gopal led the charge with figures of four for 72 while right-arm pacer Ronit More bagged three for 45.
Asked to follow on, Himachal batsmen struggled once again and were skittled out for 226. The spin combo of J Suchith (5/90) and K Gowtham (4/69) did the damage to help the hosts bag seven points.
In another tie, KSCA President’s XI drubbed Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association by nine wickets.
