Bengaluru’s Kush Maini came up with a fine performance in the Round 2 of the World Series Karting (WSK), Champions Cup as he finished second at the La Conca Kart track in southern Italy on Sunday.
The 14-year old had missed out on the podium in the Round 1 of the series and but ended the series with a fine show on Sunday clocking 48.935 for his second place finish, 0.067 seconds slower than the winner.
Kush said: “I’m very happy to finish second after a very difficult weekend. I was able to make some good moves and I’m quite happy with the way that I’ve driven.” Kush who finished fourth overall in the Champions Cup now look ahead to the World Series of Karting Gold Cup.
