Meerut jockeys on topRVC centre sizzles in CIC 2*; ASC tops table

Riders from RVC Centre (Meerut) continued their good run to clinch the gold and silver in the Concours International Combined 2* (CIC 2*) event, as the National Equestrian Championship (NEC) concluded here at the Armay Service Corps Equestrian ground on Thursday evening.

Army Service Corps (ASC) finished on top of the table with 26 medals while RVC Centre finished second with 16 medals.

On the final day, RVC’s Ankush Kumar, astride Victor, clinched the top spot with 72.1 penalty points. Sunil Kumar (riding Jay), again from RVC, struck silver with 80.8 penalty points. ASC’s Amit Siniswar, astride Silver Streak, won the bronze with 84.7 penalty points.

In the NEC Novice Eventing, AK Debey  of ASC, riding Golden Hope, bagged the yellow metal with 58.3 penalty points. Rishabh Mehta of ECE (Bengaluru), astrideBruckner, won silver with 62.7 points. Satendra Kumar of ASC, riding Anokhi, took home the bronze with 62.7 penalty points.
