Mumbai Warriors rallied from a goal down to beat Chennai Singhams 5-3 in the Premier Futsal league at the Koramangala Stadium here on Wednesday.

Having lost to Bengaluru Royals on Tuesday, the Mumbai Warriors returned completely rejuvenated and produced a fighting performance against Chennai.

Skipper Hernan Crespo netted the opening goal for Chennai in the first minute but Mumbai bounced back in style through Carlos Corvo Gonzalves, whose twin strikes in the fifth and eighth minutes in the first quarter put them ahead.

Mico Nunes Monteiro then equalised for Chennai.

However, Rico Zulkarnain restored the lead for Mumbai a minute later. Skipper Ryan Giggs then scored in the 21st minute.

But Chennai refused to lie low and struck back through Douglas Ferreira to reduce the deficit. The contest was over when Zulkarnain completed his brace with a strike in the 39th minute.

In the second game Brazilian Ronaldinho (25th, 36th, 38th,) starred with a hat-trick as Delhi Dragons recorded a 5-5 draw with Bengaluru.
