Nazin Bedari struck a brace to aid BSNL in their 6-1 rout of Jain College in the State ‘A’ Division hockey league championship at the KSHA stadium on Tuesday.
Ashok scored the opening goal for BSNL in the 12th minute, following which Vinod struck in the 18th. Nazin quickly struck a couple of goals in the 33rd and 34th minutes of the match to give BSNL a 4-0 lead over Jain.
Jain replied through a goal from Arjun five minutes later but that only spurred BSNL’s players more as Bopanna (52nd) and George Domnic (55th) struck in quick succession to complete the formalities.
