Sameer, Joshi Pratul, K Srikanth reached the prequarters in the men's singles, while Sindhu along with Ghate Gauri entered the third round in the women's sigles.
Sameer spanked Vietnamese Do Tuan Duc 21-8 21-10, K Srikanth beat Mahmoud Aram of Syria 21-16 21-11 and Pratul saw off Escueta Philip Joper of Phillipines 21-11 21-15 in the men's singles.
Fourth seed Sindhu also had a good day in office as she beat Phattanaphitoon Maetanee of Thailand 21-14 21-15 to set up a clash with Tan Wei Han of Singapore.
Sixth seed Gauri, meanwhile, beat Yeun Sin Ying of Hong Kong 13-21 21-17 21-9 in a hard-fought scond round match. She will be up against Chinese Hui Xirui in the prequarters.
Among others, T Hemanagendra Babu and K Srikanth reached the pre-quarters beating Bangladesh pair of Karim Md Rezaul and Hossain Mohammad Arif 21-6 21-14 in men's doubles. They will face top seed Jor Praveen and Rianto Rangga Yave of Indonesia tomorrow.
Three other Indian men's double pair will clash with their respective rivals in the second round later in the evening to claim a place in the pre-quarters.
Eighth seeded Women's doubles pair of K Maneesha and P V Sindhu will also fight it out with Okuhara Nozomi and Hayakawa Saori of Japan in the second round.
In the mixed doubles event, K Sriteja and D Sudha Kalyani defeated Hong Kong's Chang Tak Ching and Cheung Ying Mei 21-17 8-21 21-10 and will meet Nugroho Lukhi Apri and Amelia Ririn of Indonesia next.
Raphel Sharon and Sunil Arathi Sara will clash with Lu Ching Yao and Chen Pai Jou in the second round, while Srikanth and Maneesha will fight it out with Nepal's Ansari Irfan and Shrestha Manila later in the day.
