Sandeep N A bagged seven gold medals. The BMS College of Engineering student won the 50 and 100 freestyle, 50, 100 and 200 backstroke, 50 butterfly and 200 individual medley.
Pooja pocketed 12 gold medals to claim the women’s crown. The Bangalore Institute of Technology swimmer pocketed 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800M freestyle, 50 and 100 fly, 50 and 200 backstroke, 50 and 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley events.
BMS College of Engineering totalled 88 points to clinch the overall championship title.
The men’s team championship was won by BMSCE. In the women’s section, Bangalore Institute of Technology claimed the top prize and RVCE came second.
