An information centre is functioning at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium but the officials are unable to give a clear picture about when and where the events will be held.
The only answer they can provide is ‘check the website’. But the website gives only the dates of the events and not the timings.

Events are to begin from Wednesday in five venues but even the athletes are not aware of the schedule.

“We don’t know which event is held where and when it is going to be held.
“No information is coming from the officials,” said Czech athlete Thomas Geierspichler.
However, the technical director of athletics Iva Machova has came up with first day’s schedule.

“We can do only day-to-day programming of the events as classification of athletes is not complete,” said Machova.
