Shashank Ganesh followed up his 111 with a five-wicket haul (5/38) to help Sudarshan Vidyamandir score a comprehensive 249-run win over Insight Academy in the KSCA Cup (under-16) tournament for Division II teams here.
Batting first, Sudarshan Vidyamandir, rode on the back of Shashank’s century and Jagadish Shetti’s unbeaten 82, to reach a daunting 373 for six in 50 overs. Meghashyam M (33), Prajwal Kumble (42) and Ashlesh R Bhagavath (29) also chipped into power Sudarshan Vidyamandir.
In reply, Insight Academy were dismissed in quick time as Shashank returned with the ball in hand and bagged five wickets to bowl them out for a mere 124 in 30.1 overs
