PRIYAM GARG: Much like Nagarkoti, Garg didn’t come through on most occasions, but there were moments which made you sit up and take notice. Like the unbeaten 51 from 26 balls against Chennai with Sunrisers Hyderabad on the back foot. There wasn’t much else, but there was a quiet promise of more in that brief hit.
KAMLESH NAGARKOTI: Frankly, we didn’t get to see too much of the paceman, but there were moments which inspired the ‘next-gen’ narrative. He was quick, exciting to watch run in and exceptional as a fielder. His season concluded with five wickets from 10 games so not particularly effective. There is hope, though.
