Bangalore boys Karthikay C, Tanav S and Jai Adithya S shared the lead with four points each after four rounds on the opening day of the State under-7 chess championships, organised by the Bangalore District Chess Association.

In the girls’ section, Bangalore players Bhagyashri Patil and Aarvi Jain are in joint lead with four points.
