The 43rd Asian Men's Bodybuilding and first Asian Classic Bodybuilding Championships would be held in Tehran (Iran) from August 2-8, under the aegis of the Islamic Republic of Iran Bodybuilding and Power Lifting Federation, Assistant Secretary of Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (ABBF) Amit Swami said today.
The Championships would comprise of ten body weight categories: 55 kg (Fly), 60 kg (Lt. Fly), 65 kg (Bantam), 70 kg (Light), 75 kg (Welter), 80 kg (Lt. Middle), 85 kg (Middle), 90 kg (Lt. Heavy), Plus 90 kg (Heavy) and over 100 kg (Super Heavy).
Similarly the first Asian Men's Bodybuilding Classic would consist of four weight categories, he said.
