Defending champions Vishnu Vardhan and Prerna Bhambri cruised into the men’s and women’s singles finals of Fenesta National Tennis Championships on Friday.
Vishnu outlasted former champion V M Ranjeet 6-4, 7-6 (7/4) while Prerna, a three-time champion, took out top seed Snehadevi Reddy 6-0, 6-3.
In the boys under-18 final, Aryan Goveas of Maharashtra will take on Karnataka’s B R Nikshep. Nikshep beat Parikshit Somani of Assam 6-3, 6-3 in the semifinals. The girls' under-18 title contest will be between Zeel Desai and Sathwika Sama.
