India's Olympic gold medallist and World Champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra married Himani Mor on January 19. Neeraj married Himani in an intimate ceremony in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The wedding was attended by only close family members, with 40-50 guests.

Announcing the marriage on social media Chopra wrote, "Started a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after.” Chopra's uncle Bhim told PTI that the marriage took place in the country and the couple has since left for their honeymoon.

The curiosity around who Himani Mor has surged. Himani is a tennis player who hails from Sonipat in Haryana. She completed her schooling at Little Angels school in Panipat.

Himani went on to do her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Physical Science at Delhi University’s Miranda House before moving to the US to continue her education.

According to a report by India Today, she is currently pursuing her Master's in Science in sports management and administration from McCormack Isenberg School of Management.

She attended Southeastern Louisiana University where she did Sports Management. She also completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sports and Fitness Administration/Management at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire.

She has also worked as a part-time assistant coach at Franklin Pierce University. Currently, she manages the tennis team of Amherst College, where she is a graduate assistant. She oversees training, scheduling, recruitment and budgets with the outfit.

Himani started playing in All India Tennis Association (AITA) events in 2018 and her career-best national ranking was 42 in singles and 27 in doubles in 2018. Her brother Himanshu also played tennis.

Wishes poured in after Neeraj announced his marriage. Among the first to congratulate Chopra were former cricketer Suresh Raina and actor Gajraj Rao.

"May your journey together be filled with beautiful memories and unwavering companionship," Raina said in a post on X.
