Lenovo earlier this week launched a new line of IdeaPad Slim 5 series with AMD Ryzen AI 300 silicon.
Ryzen AI 300 Series processors come with Zen 5 cores, AMD RDNA 3.5 graphics, and an enhanced XDNA 2 NPU, delivering up to 55 TOPS of AI processing power. It is more than enough to perform any heavy-duty tasks such as video editing, gaming, running generative Artificial Intelligence features on the computer.
The new devices come in two screen sizes. IdeaPad Slim 5 (16-inch, Gen 10) features up to a 2.8K OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy and up to 500 nits brightness, while the IdeaPad Slim 5 (14-inch, Gen 10) features a WUXGA OLED display, ensuring ultra-vivid visuals and true-to-life colours. The 120Hz refresh rate enhances smoothness and responsiveness, making it ideal for both creative work and entertainment.
They come with ultra-thin body measuring just 16.9mm in thickness but boasts of military-grade durability certifications. They are available in Luna Grey and Cosmic Blue color options. Rapid Charge Boost technology ensures hours of battery life in just minutes, while the 60Whr battery can deliver a full-day battery life under normal usage.
Other notable features include Windows Hello Smart Login via an full HD IR Camera with Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor, physical privacy shutter, and AI-powered noise cancellation for crystal-clear calls. The prices start at Rs 91,990 in India.

The new 9100 PRO (PCIe 5.0) offers a significant boost in sequential read and write speeds, reaching up to 14,800 MB/s and 13,400 MB/s. This is a 99 per cent performance improvement over its predecessor, the 990 PRO.
