Asus Vivobook 14 series.

Asus, earlier this week, launched the new Vivobook 14 series PC in India.
It comes with a 14-inch full HD+ (1920x1200) IPS screen, 60Hz refresh rate, and support for 300-nit brightness. It also sports a full HD IR camera with privacy shutter and Windows Hello support.
It also features an Asus ErgoSense keyboard with a dedicated Copilot key, an ErgoSense touchpad (127.0x78.47 mm) and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
It houses Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon X1 26 100 series Processor with Qualcomm Adreno iGPU and Hexagon NPU, capable of performing 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). It features a 50 WHr battery with 65W fast-charging.
It runs Windows 11 Home OS with Copilot support with lifetime-free Microsoft Office Home 2024 and Microsoft 365 Basic (one-year validity).
It also comes with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 wireless technologies, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (data speed up to 5Gbps), two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C with support for display, power delivery (data speed up to 40Gbps), one HDMI 2.1 TMDS and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. It costs Rs 65,990.

It is powered by Advanced AI Processor XR, and it works with artificial intelligence and machine learning, which can analyse signals and data to upscale the low-quality content to high resolution.
It also boasts of Studio Calibrated Mode that reproduces the image quality intended by film content creators in a home setting. Besides Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode and Sony Pictures Core Calibrated Mode, Prime Video Calibrated Mode has been added to deliver content in high-quality resolution. The new Sony BRAVIA 5 (K-98XR55A) is priced at Rs 6,49,990.

TPV India, the official licensee of the Philips brand in India, has launched two new Bluetooth wireless speakers, TAS1400 and TAS2400.
Philips TAS1400 speaker houses 52mm dynamic drivers and can offer up to 12W (Max) sound output and up to 10 hours of continuous playtime. It comes with IPX4 splash resistance and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
The speaker also features physical button controls and supports voice assistant integration for hands-free operation. It is available in three colours-- deep black, copen blue and willow bough-- for Rs 2,599.
The Philips TAS2400 houses a larger 57mm dynamic driver and 32W (Max) sound output. And, it can deliver up to 10 hours of continuous playback. It comes with IPX4 splash resistance and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
It is available in two colours - willow bough and deep black- for Rs 3,499.

ViewSonic earlier this week launched three new TV projectors-- SP7, along with X1-4K and X2-4K Pro series.
The X1-4K and X2-4K can project 4K HDR, 1440p content at 120Hz refresh rate with ultra-low 4.2ms input lag, with up to 100-inch screen size on a compatible wall or a screen. They support cinematic Harman Kardon sound.
They come with Texas Instruments’ advanced 0.65-inch DMD chip, which promises to deliver superior contrast and depth, while the LED-powered light engine—featuring ams OSRAM’s third-generation Ostar Projection Power—generates 3,300 LED lumens of brightness and supports 125% Rec. 709 coverage for vibrant, true-to-life visuals.
It promises to offer a long lifespan of up to 60,000 hours. The X1-4K Pro is priced at Rs 3,60,000, and the X2-4K Pro costs Rs 3,90,000.
The SP7 series supports 4,800 ANSI Lumens of brightness and a 22,000:1 contrast ratio, which promises crisp and vivid visuals even in brightly lit classrooms and meeting rooms.

All the new ViewSonic projectors come with built-in Google TV, offering access to apps such as Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+, along with personalised recommendations and voice-enabled remote search. They also support multiple connectivity features such as HDMI eARC with Dolby and DTS pass-through, USB-C content streaming, Bluetooth audio, and 5GHz wireless screen mirroring.
