Samsung unveiled its new 2025 TV lineup of Vision AI-powered televisions in India earlier this month, introducing more than 40 models across Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED, QLED, and The Frame. They are priced between Rs 49,490 to INR 1,10,000.
Now, the company has revealed that Samsung registered a record Rs 10,000 crore in TV sales in the calendar year 2024 in India.
“2024 was a landmark year for Samsung India. In value terms, we achieved a turnover of INR 10000 crore. We now aspire to grow in double-digit this year backed by our new AI TV lineup that breathes new life into every frame, setting a new benchmark for cinematic excellence at home. Reliance Jio continues to be the top telecom operator in Karnataka.
In April 2025, it welcomed 1.2 lakh new mobile subscribers in April 2025—the highest among all telecom operators in the state, according to the latest data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
Jio is said to be the only telecom operator with positive active subscriber additions nationwide in April 2025, clocking over 55 lakhs active user additions—marking the second consecutive month with more than 50 lakhs VLR (Visitor Location Register) adds.
Nationally, Jio added 26.44 lakh total subscribers during the month, increasing its total user base to over 47.24 crore and leading the mobile segment with a 40.76 per cent market share.
Airtel followed with 33.65 per cent (approx. 39 crore users), while Vodafone Idea had 17.66 per cent (20.47 crore users). BSNL and MTNL together held a 7.84 per cent share.
