London-based Nothing Inc. earlier this week confirmed that it will launch Phone 3 series early next month.
Now, Carl Pei-led company has announced that it will be unveiling an all-new Nothing Headphones along with premium Android phone on July 1.
This is first such device from the house of Nothing Inc in the overhead headphones category.
The company already offersTrue Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds in wide range of price brands from Rs 1,999 to Rs 12,000.
Like Phone 3, Nothing's new headphones are likely to be a premium smart wearable. Tipped to called Nothing Headphone (1), is expected to be priced $299 (approx. Rs 25,656).
There is not much information on Headphone(1) yet, but the Phone 3 is confirmed to cost around £800 (approx. Rs 91,336). It is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipset.
In the recent teaser, the company revealed that it has ditched the Glyph interface for the Phone 3.
The Glyph user interface is very unique to Nothing Phones. The Phone 2 and the previous iteration came with LED strips on the back panel and around the camera module. They are optimised to deliver synchronised light-based notifications for emails and other updates.
Just by looking at the fading light, phone owners can know the estimated time of arrival of a cab on the Uber app or the status of the food delivery booked through the Zomato app.
But, Phone 3 will not have this feature. It is believed that the company may bring a new type of LED light feature with more capabilities.
More details will be revealed in the coming days as the launch date gets closer.
