In March, OnePlus co-founder revealed that the company will be replacing the signature feature 'alert slider' with an 'action button' on all new OnePlus phones in 2025.
Now, the company has released the new teaser of the upcoming phone OnePlus 13s, which features an iPhone-like action button called as 'Plus Key'.
The trademark alert slider is a physical switch, which allows users to quickly change between silent, vibrate, and ring modes. It's located on the edge of the phone.
But, with the new OnePlus 13s, it will be replaced with a 'Plus Key'.
As you can the teaser video, users can programme the button to perform several actions such as opening an app, taking a screenshot, launching the camera, turning on the torchlight, switching between silent, or ring mode and do more.
OnePlus 13s: What we know so far
It is said to come with a 6.32-inch 1.5K (2640x1216p) LTPO AMOLED display, supports 1-120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 1,600 nits peak.
OnePlus 13s is said to be protected by Oppo’s propriety Crystal Shield Glass shield and comes with an IP65 dust-and-water-splash resistant rating.
It also features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, dual SIM slots (nano + nano).
It is powered by 4nm class 4.32Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core with 900MHz Adreno 830 GPU, Android-based ColorOS 15 (global Oxygen 15), 12GB / 16GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB / 512GB / 1TB (UFS 4.0) storage and a 6,260mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC technology.

OnePlus 13s is expected to feature a dual-camera module— main 50MP (with 1/1.56-inch IMX906 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with a 50MP 2x telephoto camera (with f/2.0, OIS) with LED flash. It can record videos up to 4K at 60 frames per second.
It also boasts of 16MP front camera (ƒ/2.4) and can record up to 1080p full HD 30 fps video recording.
The new OnePlus 13s is expected to launched by the end of May or early June.
