Samsung on Wednesday (February 12) launched a new budget 5G phone Galaxy S06 series in India.
The new Galaxy F06 sports a 6.7-inch HD+ display with up to 800 nits peak brightness and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM slots and a type-C port.
Inside, it is powered by MediaTek D6300 octa-core processor, Android 14-based OneUI OS, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charger.
The device is guaranteed to get Android OS updates and security software support. Also, it comes with support for 12 5G bands.
The new Samsung phone boasts of dual-camera module-- a 50MP sensor and a 2MP camera with LED flash on the back. It also features a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

The Galaxy F06 5G comes in two colours--Bahama Blue and Lit Violet. Both the variants come with ‘Ripple Glow’ finish that shimmers when viewed from a certain angle.
It will be available in two configurations-- 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage-- for Rs 9,499 and Rs 10,999, respectively.
