The world's leading smartphone maker Samsung on Tuesday (May 13) launched the company's new flagship Galaxy S25 Edge series.
The latest Galaxy S25 Edge is the slimmest premium phone among the four Galaxy S25 series. It measures just 5.8mm thickness and weighs 163g.
It sports a 6.7-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440p) Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with Infinity-O display design. It supports adaptive refresh rate 1-120Hz, Vision Booster technology and has a pixel density of 513 pixels per inch (ppi) density.
The display is protected Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 shield and the back case is safeguarded by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus 2 shield. The sturdy mid-rail is made of high-grade titanium.
It also comes with a IP68 dust-and-water-resistant rating, meaning it can withstand water pressure up to 1.5 metres (around five feet) depth for close to 30 minutes.
It also features type-C port, dual-SIM slots (+ e-SIM support), an in-screen fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers.

Inside, the Samsung phone houses a special 3nm class 4.47GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, Adreno 830 GPU, 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage and a 3,900mAh battery with 25W charging speed and Qi wireless charging capability.
The device runs Android 15-based One UI 7 OS and is guaranteed to get seven years of Android OS updates and software security patches for protection against future cyber threats.

Besides Samsung Knox security, it also boasts several generative Artificial Intelligence (gen AI) features including Gemini AI, Circle to Search, Gemini Live, Now Brief, Now Bar, AI Eraser and more.
It boasts of dual-camera module-- main 200MP (with f/1.7 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation, 2x optical quality zoom) and 12MP 120-degree Ultra Wide sensor (with f/2.2, OIS, PDAF: Phase Detection Auto Focus) with LED flash. It can record 4K videos up to 60 frames per second and 8K up to 30fps.

It also features a 12MP (f/2.2) front camera for selfies and video calling.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge comes in three colours--Titanium Iceblue, Titanium Jetblack and Titanium Silver. It is available in storage options-- 256GB and 512GB-- for Rs 1,09,900 and Rs 1, 21,999, respectively.
It is available for pre-order in India at Samsung's official online store and authorised retail stores. Customers who pre-order Galaxy S25 Edge 256GB model for Rs 1,09,999, are eligible to get a free upgrade to 512GB storage variant.
