All involved in torturing detainees will not be pardoned, says Syria's rebel leader Golani

Beirut: Syrian rebel leader Ahmed al-Sharaa, better known Abu Mohammed al-Golani, said on Wednesday that all who were involved in torturing and killing detainees in Syrian prisons would not be pardoned.

"We will pursue them in Syria, and we ask countries to hand over those who fled so we can achieve justice," Golani said in a statement published on the Syrian state TV's Telegram channel.
