An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter Scale hit Myanmar at 2.50 pm on Ssturday, India's National Center for Seismology said in a post on X.
Another earthquake of magnitude 4.3 hit the country at 11:53 in the morning.
India is sending a contingent of 80 National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel for relief and rescue works in the earthquake-hit country.
Myanmar and neighbouring Thailand were rocked by high-intensity earthquake on Friday, destroying buildings, bridges and other structures. At least 1,002 people were reportedly killed in Myanmar.
