US President Joe Biden spoke on Tuesday with Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu and expressed his appreciation over Nigeria's release of Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan, a US citizen who had been held in the country on money laundering charges, the White House said.
In a statement, the White House said the two leaders also discussed recent flooding in northeastern Nigeria, cooperation on law enforcement, and reform of international organizations.
