Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday condemned the passage of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill by the Lok Sabha or the lower House of Parliament of India.

He posted on Twitter that the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill or the CAB would violate all norms of international human rights law and bilateral agreements between India and Pakistan.

Prime Minister of Pakistan added that the CAB was a part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's campaign for “Hindu Rashtra” propagated by the “fascist (Narendra) Modi Government”.

Khan has been leading Pakistan in running a global campaign against India ever since Modi Government on August 5 moved to strip Jammu and Kashmir of its “special status” and reorganized the state into two Union Territories. He used his address at the United Nations General Assembly in September to warn the world of a nuclear war between India and Pakistan. Prime Minister of Pakistan accused New Delhi of curbing the human rights of the people of Kashmir. He even went on to blame Modi for the 2002 riot in Gujarat.

He renewed the tirade against New Delhi on Twitter after the Lok Sabha of India passed the CAB.

“We demand that the Indian Government stop the brutal massacre of Kashmiri youth, children and women in the occupied valley. We salute the brave Kashmiris in the field for their rightful self-determination and stand firmly with them,” tweeted Khan on Tuesday.
