Police on Sunday said they had detained a man in Ireland's Dublin on charges of stabbing multiple people, news agency AFP reported.
The agency quoted local media as saying that 'up to four people' had been stabbed.
"A male has been arrested and is currently detained. There is no ongoing risk to the public at this time," police statement said.
