Paris: France's far-right National Rally (RN) party said Monday will vote against Prime Minister Michel Barnier in an upcoming no-confidence vote, the party announced through a post on X.
Barnier said on Monday he would try to ram a social security bill through parliament without a vote, leaving him more vulnerable than ever to being toppled in a no-confidence vote by far-right and leftist rivals. Should all RN lawmakers vote with the left to topple Barnier, the government won't survive.
