A first group of prematurely born babies who were evacuated from hospital in the Gaza Strip crossed into Egypt for medical treatment on Monday, according to live footage and Egypt's Al Qahera TV.More than two dozens babies were expected to cross, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent and Al Qahera TV. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military about the situation at the Indonesian Hospital, where health officials in Hamas-ruled Gaza said 700 patients along with staff were under fire from Israeli forces.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will host a meeting in Moscow on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Gaza with foreign ministers from members of the Arab League and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the RIA news agency reported on Monday.

The head of the World Health Organisation said on Monday he was "appalled" by an attack on the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza that he said had killed 12 people, including patients, citing unspecified reports.
"Health workers and civilians should never have to be exposed to such horror, and especially while inside a hospital," he said on social media platform X. (Reuters)
Nearly 200 evacuees from Gaza are set to arrive in Turkey on Monday, including dozens of patients who will receive medical treatment there, Turkey's health minister and foreign ministry spokesman said.Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said 61 patients, accompanied by 49 relatives, had arrived in Ankara on Monday afternoon after being brought out to Egypt on Sunday.
