Cairo: The Israeli military launched airstrikes on Monday in the vicinity of the southern Syrian province of Daraa, Syrian state news agency SANA reported, in the latest string of strikes targeting the country's military infrastructure.
The Israeli army confirmed the strikes. It said it targeted military headquarters and sites containing weapons and equipment. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
Last week Israeli jets conducted several raids on former Syrian army barracks and outposts in Daraa.
