Elon Musk said President Donald Trump should release the Epstein files as promised.
“Seriously. He said ‘Epstein’ half a dozen times while telling everyone to stop talking about Epstein. Just release the files as promised,” Musk said in a reply to a post on X.
Earlier, Trump had defended Attorney General Pam Bondi in a post on Truth Social, while also accusing members of the Biden administration and others of being the creator of the files.
Musk's post comes at a time when he has publicly clashed with Trump several times.
Earlier this week, Musk announced the launch of his own political party—the America Party—amid his widening rift with the US President.
Musk spent hundreds of millions on Trump's re-election and led the Department of Government Efficiency under the Trump administration aimed at slashing government spending, but the two have since fallen out over disagreements about the US President's tax cuts and spending bill, which was recently passed into law.
Trump, meanwhile, has threatened to cut billions in contracts to Musk's firms.
