Kyiv mayor says combined drones and missiles attack city

Ukraine's capital Kyiv was coming under a combined drone and missile attack early on Saturday, Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said.

Klitschko, writing on the Telegram messaging app, ordered emergency crews to head to the city's Svyatoshynskyi district, west of the city centre.

Reuters witnesses said a series of explosions jolted the city.
