London: Neither vessel involved in a crash off the English coast on Monday was expected to sink, transport minister Heidi Alexander said in a statement, citing preliminary assessments following a meeting with the coastguard agency.
Her comments come after maritime minister Mike Kane earlier told parliament the container ship involved in the crash was unlikely to stay afloat.
