Panama City: The government of Panama announced on Monday that it had secured a 1.2 billion euros loan with a two-year maturity from Banco Santander.

The loan will partially cover the general state budget for the fiscal year 2025 and future fiscal years, the government said in a statement, where it detailed that the deal with the bank was closed last Tuesday.
