The blast occurred on Gulistan Road in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan province, the report added.
According to initial reports, an explosives-laden vehicle rammed into the wall of local police officer Wazir Khan Nasir's home and exploded.
Khan was injured in the blast and his house was also badly damaged, local TV channel Express reported.
