Bangkok : Thailand's ruling Pheu Thai party has submitted a petition to dissolve parliament and is awaiting royal approval, its Chief Whip Wisut Chainarun told Reuters.
His remarks came moments after a major opposition party said it would back Pheu Thai's rival, Bhumjaithai, to form the next government.
