Trump says he hopes there will be many more deals like Intel

Washington: US President Donald Trump on Monday said he hopes to have many more cases similar to the deal the federal government struck with Intel <INTC.O >, in which the federal government took a 10 per cent stake in the struggling chipmaker under a deal that converts government grants into an equity share.

"I hope I'm going to have many more cases like it," Trump told reporters at the White House.

"I want to try and get as much as I can," he added.
