The US, which suspended drone strikes in Pakistan following last November's NATO attack that left 24 Pakistan Army soldiers dead, has now resumed drone attacks. The latest strike killed four suspected militants in North Waziristan.

A drone carried out the missile attack in North Waziristan Tuesday night, reported Dawn.
Three of the dead were foreign nationals, said sources.

The attack took place on a three-room compound in Kherwana village on the outskirts of Miramshah.

US suspended drone attacks after a NATO strike killed 24 Pakistani soldiers in Mohmand Agency Nov 26 last year. An angry Islamabad barred the passage of NATO supplies through the country and boycotted an international conference that focussed on the future of Afghanistan.

It also directed the US to vacate the key Shamsi airbase that was used to launch drone strikes
