World Court elects Iwasawa Yuji as new president

Amsterdam: The International Court of Justice, also known as the World Court, said on Monday that Iwasawa Yuji had been elected as its new president to complete former president Nawaf Salam's term.

Salam resigned in January to become Lebanon's prime minister.
