US President Donald Trump will discuss his American First-based economic policies at the World Economic Forum on Wednesday, and talk about foreign policy on Thursday, a senior White House official told reporters en route to Davos.
Trump may touch on issues involving Greenland and Venezuela as well as his planned Board of Peace and hemispheric domination, the official said. The US president landed in Zurich early Wednesday and will proceed to Davos.

Speaking at an event in Rome to present the Winter Olympics Italy is hosting next month, Giorgetti said that judging from news reports he had read "it seems there are some problems" regarding Rome's participation in Trump's initiative.
Italian daily Corriere della Sera reported earlier on Wednesday that Italy would not take part, citing concern that joining a group led by a single country's leader would violate the constitution.

NATO situation difficult but must focus on Russia, says Norway's defence minister
The situation in NATO is difficult due to the crisis over Greenland, but western allies must remember their common adversary is Russia, which is increasing its military presence in the Arctic, Norway's defence minister said on Wednesday.
"These are demanding times. The situation in NATO is difficult," Tore Sandvik told a meeting with foreign correspondents in Oslo.
"The dimensional threat for the West, for NATO, (for) all members of NATO, still is Russia," he said.
Sandvik was speaking as the Western military alliance is fraying under the pressure of U.S. President Donald Trump's relentless push to acquire Greenland from fellow NATO ally Denmark.
