Amid the surge in the Covid-19 cases, the Karnataka Primary & Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh on January 21 hinted at the chances of reopening of schools in the state.
“If any Covid positivity comes into a school, the school will have to be closed," the minister said.
“The government will be taking a call on reopening of schools in Bengaluru next week,” he said further. Karnataka has been recording a high number of Covid-19 cases with Bengaluru accounting for over half of the new infections.
