After finishing her schooling, Nandini moved to Mumbai for her higher studies.

She earned a degree in Business Management from Lala Lajpat Rai College in Mumbai.

In 2023, Nandini participated in the Femina Miss India World competition and won the title.

Aligning with the beauty pageant’s motto, ‘Beauty with a purpose’, Nandini Gupta launched Project Ekta, which aims to bring lasting and meaningful changes in the lives of persons from the differently abled community.

At a press conference on May 6 at Trident Hyderabad, Nandini Gupta said, “It fills me with pride to represent India on home soil. Telangana’s charm, warmth, and diversity will certainly be a memorable backdrop for this transformative journey. I’m excited to welcome the world here."
