'Wonder Woman' Gal Gadot receives Hollywood Walk of Fame Star amid pro-Palestine protests

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honored Israeli actress Gal Gadot, best known for her Wonder Woman role, at a star unveiling ceremony on March 18.

With this honour, Gal Gadot became the first Israeli actress to receive a star on the iconic boulevard.

"This is very surreal for me, and I feel like I'm the luckiest woman right now. I’m just a girl from a town in Israel, and I could never have imagined such a moment," said Gadot.

With her upcoming movie Snow White hitting theaters this weekend, Gal Gadot is making headlines, not only for the movie but also for her strong support of Israel amid the Israel-Gaza conflict.

The event saw some prominent attendees, including Vin Diesel, Israeli actress Shira Haas and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, who had the honor of presenting Gadot with her star.
