Maha Kumbh 2025: Over 1.60 crore offer prayers at Sangam on auspicious Maghi Purnima

Nearly 1.60 crore devotees participated till 12:00 pm in the Maghi Purnima ritual at the Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

With the Maghi Purnima bath, the month-long Kalpavas will also end, and around 10 lakh 'Kalpvasis' will start leaving the Maha Kumbh.

According to a statement from the Uttar Pradesh government, 1.59 crore devotees had completed their ritual bath at the Triveni Sangam and other ghats by 12 pm, as lakhs continued to head to the Sangam Nose.
