Maha Kumbh: Amit Shah takes the holy dip in Sangam, performs rituals

Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a dip in the Triveni Sangam here amid the Maha Kumbh on January 27.

Shah took the dip around 01:00 pm, performed 'jal aachman,' and offered water to the Sun besides performing other rituals under the guidance of some top seers.

Along with the seers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accompanied Amit Shah.

The home minister's family members, including son Jay Shah, took part in the rituals, including 'aarti,' at the Sangam. Amit Shah's wife, Sonal, daughter-in-law, Rishita and grandchildren also took part in the rituals.
