RIP Bishan Singh Bedi: 5 memorable moments from his illustrious career

Bedi was a part of Indian cricket's golden quartet of spinners who formed the core of India's bowling unit for more than a decade between 1966 and 1978.

Bedi played a crucial role in Team India's first ODI win. His impactful bowling restricted East Africa to 120 in the 1975 World Cup.

Bedi was the longest serving Delhi Ranji team captain from 1974 to 1982. Under him, Delhi won two Ranji trophies (1978-79 and 1979-80).

After his retirement, Bedi actively remained in the sport. He held the posts of manager, selector and commentator apart from grooming the budding cricketers.
