YSR Congress’s Allagadda Assembly candidate and four-time MLA B Shobha Nagi Reddy (46) died at a hospital here on Thursday while undergoing treatment following a road accident in Kurnool District.
The car she was travelling in overturned near Doobaguntamitta on Wednesday while she was returning to Allagadda from Nandyal after participating in a rally. Her husband Nagi Reddy is contesting from Nandyal Assembly seat on a YSRC ticket.
Shobha belongs to a family of politicians, her father S V Subba Reddy is a former minister and her brother S V Mohan Reddy is a former MLC.
