Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday declared that making farming viable and creating new jobs for youth would be the two top and immediate priorities of the People’s Front (Praja Kutami) if voted to power in Telangana in the December 7 election.

Rahul and Telugu Desam national President Nara Chandrababu Naidu concluded their campaign in the Telangana Assembly election by addressing a joint media conference here on Wednesday. They wound up the media conference exactly a minute before 5 pm, abiding by the code of conduct.

Rahul said the People’s Front was committed to instilling hope in the farmers, who are depressed due to lack of support prices for their produce. He also said the Front government would be run by the people. “Just like we are accommodating everyone to talk here, our government will accommodate every section”, Rahul said. He said Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party president and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was a nervous man, sensing defeat for his party in the election.
“His body language, his abusive words reflect his nervousness”, Rahul said.

Modi agent

Congress, TDP, CPI, Telangana Jana Samithi and Telangana Inti Party have formed a grand alliance to fight TRS party, which is going alone.

“Telangana elections are the beginning of change in the national political scenario," Chandrababu Naidu said. Terming both Modi and KCR as divisive, he alleged that Narendra Modi divides people on religious lines and KCR on regional lines. “When a leader works for his family and forgets about the state, the state will not develop,” Prof Kodandaram said asking people to vote for Praja Kutami.
CPI General Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy dubbed KCR as the agent of Modi.
